The search for missing children Lily and Jack Sullivan
is ongoing. The Nova Scotia RCMP is asking for the
public's assistance in locating six-year-old Lily and
four-year-old Jack. They were last seen May 1, on
Gairloch Road in Lansdown Station, Pictou County. Lily
has shoulder-length light brown hair with bangs. She
might be wearing a pink sweater, pink pants and pink
boots. Jack has short blondish hair. He's wearing blue
dinosaur boots.

Mother calls for amber alert as search continues for missing Pictou County children.
Their mother, Malehya Brooks-Murray, is urging officials to escalate the search, fearing her children may have been taken.
Brooks-Murray said in a social media post...
“I want an Amber Alert for my children! I want my babies home.
Halifax radio station, Q104 posted this update update: "The search efforts are ongoing today in Pictou County for missing children Lily and Jack Sullivan.
The searches went on through Saturday night, as they had on Friday night as well. Ground search and rescue team members and officers who were on scene overnight have been relieved by new volunteers and officers from agencies involved to allow for refreshed searches to continue as necessary"

Statement found on the RCMP website says,
"There is a multi-agency response currently on the ground in Pictou County. It includes resources from ground search and rescue teams from around the province who are collaborating to ensure resources and teams are available on an ongoing basis. Other resources and teams include the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA), Department of Natural Resources Air Services, and several RCMP units, including RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drones) operators, and others. Additionally, the RCMP issued a vulnerable missing person alert for Pictou County."
On Saturday, Premier Tim Houston released a statement,
"People in Pictou County and across Nova Scotia are praying for a positive outcome
for two missing children, During this time of worry, please know that our
first responders and volunteers are working tirelessly during this 24/7 operation."
Premier Tim Houston went on to say ,"This was the first assignment for the Nova Scotia Guard, a volunteer- led program created by the government to assist during a crisis or disaster. They stepped up immediately following the call to action. Guard volunteers are working in shifts to help with food distribution, overnight protection of equipment and parking and directions assistance for first responders."
